    Passing of Bruce Englunds' Mother

    On Thursday July 31st Bruce's mom passed away peacefully. She was at the ripe old age of 96 or 97 years old and up to a few months ago she was still sharp as a tack. Bruce visited her daily at the nursing home facility in Sterling as part of his daily routine despite the weather. As Bruce puts it "she was a tough old bird but still had a wonderful sense of humor". She was the Matriach of the Englund household and will be sorely missed by all those that she touched in her lifetime. Per Bruce's mothers' request, there will be no calling hours or formal services and she will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery in Paxton at the convenience of the family. Please join me in offering your condolences and well wishes for the families' loss at a very difficult time. May God Bless her.

    So sorry to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with the Englund family. Sounds like she had a wonderful family and a wonderful life.
