The sun was shinnin over new York yesterday and we had a 37 car field , going into round one it was Dick wood number one qualifier with the buy run. As the rounds wound down going into the semis it was cliff Carey going after Dave French and Chris rice getting the buy into the finals , cliff and Chris set the stage for the finals both guys were on there game all day Chris first outing since his pain stacking delays with his back and the friendly workers comp people he was looking for an inspiring win to get his hopes up , when the two staged the lights came down the race was on and Chris win light came on cliff gave him a hell of a race , a very well deserved win for Chris after all the bs hard work and devotion you deserve every moment of it hell of a job and a nice day for every one
