Well we went into the last points race with a tight battle for the Championship between all 4 of the top guys. But after heavy rains came through the Epping area Friday and into the night time, the NED crew was working as hard as they could to get the track dry and safe for us to have our race and battle for the top spot for 2012. Well needless to say that Mother Nature didn't think we should battle it out Saturday as the NED crew couldn't get the track dry and safe for us to race so the points chase was over and the 2012 Club Champ was Ryan Hadley followed by Craig Rice and in 3rd place was Keith Rice.

Ryan started the year off with a win at the ice breaker race in April and after that it was consistent rounds to earn him the top spot and the bulleye for the 2013 season. Great job Ryan a well dersreved Championship. I personally have seen Ryan race since when he was back in the Jr. Dragster and the kid has come along way and it was only a matter of time until he got himself a Championship.

On Sunday we had our Top16 Shootout race along with our Gamblers race. Going into the night time racing under the lights we ended up with Chris Rice and Justin Bruso in the finals of the Top 16 race. Chris and Justin were both on their games Sunday and at the end of the night it was Chris taken the win over Justin to earn himself the Top16 Shootout Trophy and $$$$$$. Chris has had quite the season struggling with some car problems along with some back problems and he couldn't have been happier to end the year in the winner's circle he deserved the win and the car looked good doing it. Way to go Chris!!!

The gamblers race had 32 cars join it and after the dust settle it was two CMDR club member doing battle for the trophy and $$$ there. It was Ray Rice going against Tim McHugh. Ray and Tim were also on their "A" games and taking out some heavy hitters from the NED Points series and after the win light came on it was Tim taken the win over Ray on a break-out.

Congrats goes out to Ryan on his Championship and Chris and Tim on their wins to end what was an awesome season for all.
