With the cancellation of our monthly meeting for January and the make-up meeting date of Feb. 3rd, we need to finalize the count with the caterer by Tuesday LATEST. So consider this as a quick reminder that if anyone is planning on going to the banquet and just made up their mind to go, you must send in your response form with your check for how many are attending to: CMDR, P.O. Box 101 Rutland, MA 01543. Please spread the word to those members that do not frequent the race club site by calling them on the phone as a quick reminder.
The banquet is a great mid-winter party for all of us to have a good meal, bench race, talk about the improvements we are doing with our cars and quaff down a couple root beers. We also give out the annual awards to the top guns of our club and some surprise awards as well.
If you don't think that you can get it to me before Tuesday, email me at backerman@stjcemetery.com or call me on my day cell 508-245-4237 and leave a message - if I don't answer and I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can say you are coming and we will put you in the count and you can pay Brian, Craig, Katie or me at the door but make sure you come because it will still cost the club if you don't show up.
