The day started off with a total of 42 CMDR member coming out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for the #2 points race of the CMDR season. #1 Qualifier was Karl Groccia and it was great to see some new faces this season father and son team Lionel and Lance Gendron with the youngster behind the wheel of the 1979 Trans-Am (What's your pleasure? From the all time great Smokey and the Bandit movie.) going some rounds. And at the end of the day it was a Mopar and a Ford going for the victory. Steve Campanale and Jake Conant battled it out for the first CMDR win of the season, and Steve came out on the top as Jake broke out trying to catch that Mighty Mopar. Congratulation to Steve and Shawn on your first win of the season. All in all it was a great day. See you all at the May 15th race #3.
