For those who could not attend Thursdays meeting, here are the highlights.

*My wife Pam sent a card thanking the club for the flowers sent for her mothers funeral.
*Katie read the minutes from the August meeting.
*Swede gave an overview of the checkbook. (we are still in good shape)
*I opened by reminding everyone of the upcoming race on th 26th.
I also reminded everyone that the race on Saturday October 10th is going to be a points race and not a gamblers/invitational race due to prior rainouts at Oxford.
I also announced that Ted Leahyand Bruce Englund would sponsoring a cookout on Saturday night and if anyone could bring something (pastries or whatever) that would would be great. They did a great job feeding us last year and we should all take pause to thank them.
We talked about the 1st annual "TOP 16 SHOOTOUT". It has been decided that we will payout like we do at gamblers races.
I mentioned my appreciation to Craig Rice for the job well done on the points program. His efforts to limit the ties have gone a long way.
Also mentioned was the idea that we will ladder the Sunday shootout race right from the first round.
I brought up the idea of having kill stickers made for CMDR event winners and it was received well.Myself along with the board will work on that.
Well that is about it. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the October race.
Who knows, I just might be out there just in time to raise hell with you!

Good Luck To All.....
