Donald A. Carbonneau, 69, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in his home. He leaves his children, Jeffrey D. Carbonneau of Charlton and his companion, Jen Cogswell, Seth H. Carbonneau and his wife Kimberly of West Boylston; Jill M. Coleman and her husband, Gary of Holden and Felisha D. Goulet of Leominster; nine grandchildren, T. J., Zachary, Maki, Samantha, Alli, Steven, Dylan, Summer and Jenna, three brothers, Omer E., John P. and Richard S. Carbonneau and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Carbonneau and his former wife, Carol M. (Hamilton) Carbonneau. Donald was born in Worcester a son of Leo and Marie A. (Lavigne) Carbonneau and has lived in Worcester for many years.
Mr. Carbonneau was a lab technician more than 35 years for UMASS Memorial Hospital, Belmont Street Campus and retired about three years ago. He graduated from Holy Name High School in 1963. He was an avid die cast and comic book collector. He was a vendor at The Lancaster Flea Market and Rietta in Hubbardston, MA He was also a quasi – gardener. He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2014 with a service at 6:00 PM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday June 23, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. www.worcesterfuneral.com
